On June 3rd, Hungarian Baptist Aid’s HUBA Rescue24 international search and rescue team’s storage place was partially burnt down because of electric fire.

Civil and Military Cooperation

Budapest – Hungarian Baptist Aid (HBAid) has more than twenty-year-long national and international experiences within the humanitarian aid and in the field of rehabilitation and development. According to the request of Hungarian Defense Forces Civic-Military Cooperation and Psychological Operations Center, Dávid GÁL HBAid’s Director of International Programs and Sándor HORVÁTH HBAid’s program coordinator participated in a training that introduced the civic-military cooperation (CIMIC).

A Memorial Day for Chidren

Törökbálint - Since last year, Hungarian Baptist Aid maintains the Tabitha Children’s Hospice House that is specialized to improve chronically, terminally or seriously ill children’s and their families’ quality of life. The Home has been operating for 6 years. Last Friday, April 28th, was their memorial day.

Sensitization Program for the Youth

Budapest – The sensitization program of the international Visegrad Fund was launched. The lectures are presented by the workers of Hungarian Baptist Aid in several educational institutions throughout the country. The goal is to provide psychological and social help to young high school students.

Helping the Poor in Nagyecsed

Last Monday, on March 20th, Hungarian Baptist Aid, in cooperation with Hungarian Food Bank, distributed three hundred packages of sustainable food in Nagyecsed (Eastern Hungary). The packages included canned food, tea, chocolate, and also different types of clothes. The aid organization is preparing for another distribution and is collecting donations for the project.

Drinks for Schools, Hospitals, Ambulances and Disaster Defenders

Budapest – BUSZESZ Food Industry Ltd. offered 51 pallets of beverages, worth of 1 million 7 hundred thousand HUF, to Hungarian Baptist Aid.
